hi i just recently installed the cirrus,. while trying configure the cirrus for scheduled backups an error message appeared " The credentials do not have right access to the device" . Any possible cause or solution to the problem?
what is the device in question?
most of the equipments are cisco 6500. We need to set up this immediately for our client. Temporarily we used the trial version. we successfully added 2 nodes (cisco 6500). but we were unsuccessful in scheduling a backup on the configs on the already added nodes
Can you manually start/test the job? You can run a session trace by performing the following steps.
Cirrus Mgr-> File-> Settings-> Scroll down to Advanced -> Select Session Trace. Take note of the file name in the dialog box. Run the job and produce the trace.
Additionally, for one of the devices that already exist, I recommend double-clicking on the device and selecting Actions > Validate Login. This should show you exactly which credentials are being used to connect to the device and where the login is failing.
