Node Group Variable

I have NCM 5 and Orion NPM 9 and the integration piece installed. The problem I'm having is that when I click on a Node on my NPM web site and try to view the Running Config I get an error "The file does not exist." I can edit the path to where it looks for the config and this is what it is currently set at: c:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\Config-Archive\${Caption}\${M}-${D}-${Year}\${Caption}-Running.Config.

The problem is that this path is missing the Node Group name after the Config-Archive. All of my configs are stored in c:\Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management\Config-Archive\Node Group (ex. Switches, Routers, etc...). Anyone know what the variable is for the Node Group from NCM? Or am I missing something else here?

It sounds like you have the old file-based integration resource. This would have been something you downloaded from the additional components section of the support website. This is not supported and should not be used anymore.

When you say you installed the "integration piece", can you confirm that you installed the SolarWinds-Orion-NCM-v5.0-NPM-Integration.exe on your Orion NPM server?

This should add an NPM resource that is file-name independent and queries the NCM database directly for a list of configs.

we downloaded and installed the ConfigListing piece....where can i find the integration.exe you reference above? i can't find it on the solarwinds site....

We ran that with the install (didn't have the credentials set up)...right now the problem is no matter what node we go to the node name under Last 5 Config Changes is always 'Support' and when you click on one of the configs there isn't anything there....
