microsoft failover cluster

We have several Microsoft failover clusters in our environment. I see there are several templates for Microsoft clusters. What I'd like to know is how do I apply these templates. Do add each node in the cluster to the template? Or do I add a node to SolarWinds that represents the cluster IP and attach the template to that? Also, what if it's SQL with Availability Groups that can move between servers?

Have you actually read the document on windows failover clustering from the link you included because it doesn’t answer my question. The templates for windows failover clustering don’t have documentation on how they should be applied and that kb doesn’t clarify either. Do I apply the template to both nodes or the cluster up?

Do these links still work or go somewhere valid? I tried clicking on one, and it took me to a login page that I've never seen before. Doing a search for failover clusters just brings me to https://documentation.solarwinds.com/en/Success_Center/SAM/Content/SAM-Microsoft-Windows-Server-2008-R2-2012-R2-Failover-Cluster-sw5637.htm and I'm not sure which note is being referenced.

I'm in a similar boat - we have 8 failover cluster nodes and a lot of VIPs, and I'm trying to determine where best to apply application tempates. I'm also not sure where to monitor resources, as we have shared volumes between these systems.
