Is there a way to change these shortcuts?
Customizing keyboard shortcuts is not possible in Solar-PuTTY.
We're thinking about making the Solar-PuTTY keyboard shortcuts optional - so you could turn them off and all the shortcuts would be then picked up by the terminal.
What do you think about this approach?
Hello Milan,
Customising shortcuts is definitely needed. For example, I would like to be able to disable CTRL+W since it closes the tab instead of deleting the last word on terminal, but leave CTRL+T ot CTRL+E enabled.
Thank you.
igasimov,
we have recently released updated version of Solar-PuTTY, in Settings->General you can find checkbox 'Disable keyboard shortcuts'. That's the only way of 'customizing' keyboard shortcuts in Solar-PuTTY right now.

Hi Richard,
Request to support Customization of keyboard short cuts or at least disable a particular short cut which user do not want.
for example cntrl + D is delete a word in Linux bash. but here tab gets closed. In vim when we split screen to navigate cntrl + D is short cut.
disabling all the short cut hampers other good features like tab navigation etc. A kind request support the customization
