I opened up my database using SolarWinds Database Manager and opened the Nodes table. It shows that CPU Load on all nodes is -2.....obviously it's not (or no longer) gathering this information. Has some service stopped? What is the exact procedure to stop/start all services needed by SolarWinds NPM? I started the Monitor Polling Engines utility and it showed that everything was running except the Application Monitor..which I don't use. I checked a node's details in Orion and it had CPU Load as blank. When I clicked the Poll button it then showed CPU as 1%. The polling interval is set as the defualt (10 seconds status, 1 minute statistics) for all my nodes.....why does it just stop collecting of it's own accord?? Also when I start Orion System Manager it informs me that the database is getting big and I should run maintenance. The database is a grand total of 4.3 Gig...not exactly massive and I only managed 415 nodes. The SQL Database Manager states that 4.3 Gb is being used out of a possible 5.9 Gb .....does that mean that I only have 1.6 Gb left and after that I'm dead or will SQL Server allocate more space for itself as time goes on? This is really a wonderful tool...it just seems to have either a mind of its own or I'm completely incompetent or unlucky or it's Friday 13th.
Thanks for any guidance
