Polling Engine May Be Down

Just started looking at APM and was looking at my polling engine and it lists as "Polling Engine May Be Down", should it be like that? I am only monitoring about 200 elements at this point so I know it is a problem with trying to monitor too much.

I am working on evals (hopefully not for long)... I contacted our sales rep so hopefully they can find out an answer; not a show stopper just curious minds want to know.

Hi Brad--

Did you get this resolved? I checked our support logs and I only find a case for this concerning NPM, not APM.

Can you tell me what you found?

No I haven't. Since then I have installed the evaluation of NPM and I see the same message for the polling engine. They are installed on 2 separate machines and the only thing in common is that they are installed on Windows 2008 R2 and are both VMware virtual machines. There doesn't seem to be any issues because the polling cycle is finishing properly.

Do you have only eval copies of our products at this time? If so, I can have a sales rep reach out to you.
