3com 3300, Baystack and Upload , Download

Hi,

I'm trying the evaluation copy and i can't either download or upload the 3com conf, is this feature available ?

Will i have to use the templating tool ?

I searched through your forum with the find tool but i didn't find my answer.

Not sure if you're aware of this, but the 3300 went end of life in Sept of last year ( 5 years past the end of sale date ).

Doesn't help you solve your problem, but perhaps you can position it as potential business risk,since there is no support at all ( warranty or otherwise ) around that device anymore, and get the moneybags to free up some money to buy a new switch.

Hi,

I succeed entering the prompt with the following device template configuration :

- put a pre-command "#"

It seems it enabled the device to accept my command as if it was a cisco.

I'm still trying to backup my 3com

Thanks for your answer ,

I'm aware about the 3300 end of life but we can't replace them before the next year.

We baught a license for 1 000 equipments and we are waiting for the server to install the product , I think i will just make a display of some important point in the 3300 conf.
