APM polls. The polling frequency is customer-controlled, but by default, it's every 5 minutes.

what is the shortest polling frequency ? Eg can it be 30 seconds or even less?

The shortest polling frequency is 60 seconds. Many of the counters we're polling take a while to respond, so polling them them more often won't work well.
