Hi All,
Is it possible to run a simple sql test as a SAM and report if up or down ?
we have the services monitored and they stay up but need to run something like "Select 1" from the SAM and alert if not up

just for anyone else who may be trying to do the same thing i found that i could use the "SQL Server User Experience Monitor" component in the SAM template
