Output result "not defined with remote powershell script

So trying to get my script working remotely but I cannot get any output and the script doesn't seem to even start to run. I have tested that winrm works from application polling engine server towards remote server with "winrm get winrm/Config -r:hostname". Execution mode is remote and I tried with http and https without success. Script works fine if I run it locally. If I have understood correctly changing execution mode to remote just runs this same script on the target server.

This is my script which I'm trying to get working:

Then you will need to fix the WinRM configuration on the Orion server and the remote host before you can use the script in SAM using the remote execution method. Alternatively you can utilize the optional Agent included in SAM 6.2 to execute that same PowerShell script without need to configure WinRM at all. Simply install the Agent on the remote host, manage the node via the agent, and apply the PowerShell script monitor to the host using Local Execution and the PowerShell script will execute via the Agent installed on the remote host.

Have you tried opening the script in the SAM editor and testing it to see if you get more detailed errors showing rather than just the output are undefined? By that I mean finding your component, telling it to test it against the host you want with the arguments you are expecting. This usually throws out all the errors that might have occurred, which you don't always see under regular execution.

I did notice you're using C$ which is an admin share, and usually not available to regular users. Is the user that you specified to execute the command on the remote host an admin on the transfer host?

Yes I did got this error when creating new template and while at "edit script" I tried to get the test output. I'm not sure whether there is somekind of different test section where I would get better output or better error message.

That user is in the admin group of both hosts which are being used by this script so that should be ok.

SAM does not use the hostname, it uses the IP address of the remote host. You should try your WinRM connection again using the IP and not the hostname of the machine to see if then returns an error. If it does, then you will need to add the Orion server to the trusted hosts list of the remote machine you're trying to execute the script on.

In case you decide to go local vs remote I have a similar script which I opted to run as straight UNC paths so as to avoid any remote PS at all. It should work in just the same way and keep the effort on your polling engine vs the remote OS.

That seemed to be the problem.I do now get some output but not correct one. It still seems that the script doesn't still run correctly on the remote server.

Thanks for the offer. My idea was to use application polling engine to just launch the script and not do anything else. This way I hope I can get more realistic outputs about the transfer speed between different servers.
