Cirrus Settings changing with no user action.

This weekend our cirrus backup jobs failed on every node. This is over 60 jobs and about 3800 nodes. Every one of them said connection refused. After looking into and double checking settings I found that the request configs was set to TFTP. That is funny; you can not select this from the GUI. It is not an option. The only way I can figure out how this happened is a database update or Cirrus made the change. I did check the global settings for config transfers and request configs with TFTP is not an option. Has anyone had any issues with settings being changed with out user action?
