I have NCM on a separate box from our NPM install, and that box needs to be upgraded pretty soon. We were thinking about merging the two onto a single platform, but I wanted to see what kind of issues there are involved in this. There are two things I can think of that are stumbling blocks:
1. The two databases have different names.
I run my NCM web console as https only, and NPM as http only. I wouldn't mind running NPM as https, but the last time I explored the possibility there were too many question marks attached to the process, and it wasn't officially supported, as I recall.
Can anyone address these two points, and any other that I'm not aware of?
