additional poller does not appear to poll

Team,

I added a windows server 2008 as an additional poller. For some reason when I attempt to "validate snmp" against configured nodes, the vailidation fails. SNMP is up and running on these servers. Has anyone experienced a situation like this. I have verified that the software is installed correctly but can not determine where the break in communication occurs. Any ideas?

If you have any access list for SNMP on your switches and routers, make sure you add the IP address of the second polling engine. I had the same issue and once I added the second poller in the SNMP access list, it started collecting data.
