SMS Alert

Question

Hi again,

Can anyone help me regarding this third party software?  The third party device is Wavecom fastrack, model is M1306B.  I'm doing a demo actually and the client wants to have an sms alert using this device.  We are having a hard time with the set-up....Can someone at least provide us steps for the set-up of this device?  Please.....????

Your other option would be to use NotePage Pro or PageGate.  We currently have NotePage Pro and are getting ready to switch to PageGate because it runs as a service.

I read that model modem comes with a free SDK Kit which includes a Command Line interface.

Use Orion's EXTERNAL COMMAND calls and pass your alert variables to this CLISMS.exe program - see their example in the documenation (PDF) - I think this should definitely work for you.
