Is it possible to extract real time data from LEM to feed into another monitoring application

tractI currently use LEM and PRTG. What I would like to be able to do is extract
live data from LEM to feed into PRTG which I use for real time monitoring of
servers/services. With the latest version of LEM there is now a web UI for the
appliances, which I thought may make data extraction easier if I can tap into
these feeds. I just wondered if anyone else has had a similar scenario where
they wanted to extract data from LEM and feed into another monitoring solution.

For example I check on LEM several times a day for alerts, but if there was
an automated way where I could tap into, for example IDS alerts and then have
some sort of sensor that could be triggered in PRTG.

The easiest way to do this is to send SNMP traps from LEM to PRTG using correlation rules and the "Send SNMP Trap" action.

The LEM console is (right now) a single container, so it's all-or-nothing from a visuals perspective. You can "embed" the LEM console inside other consoles, but it's essentially the entire console, not just a graph, chart, or popup.

ANY event in LEM can raise an SNMP trap, so you could build a specific category, severity, or frequency of IDS alerts and use that to send a trap. Given the information in the originating event, your SNMP trap could be tied to a PRTG node based on where it was detected (DetectionIP) or the source/destination (SourceMachine/DestinationMachine).
