Netflow stuck at re-indexing NTA data

Hi,

We just installed netflow module and the system is stuck at :

"The NetFlow Service is re-indexing Orion NTA data. DO NOT restart this service. Collection and processing of NetFow data is suspended until re-indexing completes. » More Informatio

For 4 days now... Our databse is only 3.5GB.. So according to the re-indexing time around 30min for 10Gb, this is way too long.

Is there any possibility to restart this service ? What's the best way to finish au relaunched the re-indexing ?

Hi Biks,

see . In short - reindexing is very probably already done (and restarting service should be safe, but will not help with the displayed message though), mistake is in reporting its progress and SW support should be able assist quickly once you submit a ticket.

You may also try to copy-paste something suspicious from NTA bussiness layer log (as described in above mentioned post) so that we can try to help you over this thread.

Restarting the service didnt break anything as I thought.
