POP3 User Experience Monitor

Hello!

I am trying to configured a template with the POP3 User Experience monitor. When I choose "POP3 encryption" -> "SSL", I get the following message:

Current setting is not compatible with FIPS.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you have enabled FIPS mode‌ on the Windows operating system that your Orion server is running on.

Thank you.

I made the registry changes and no luck.

Also, I followed suggestion on SolarWinds Online Help

And nothing.

Still getting the same error.

This is because the Local or Domain Policy is forcing FIPS mode on that server. You will need to disable the "System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing" option through the policy editor and reboot the server for these changes to take effect.
