Service Control Manager missing

Hello, I just recently noticed that our ability to use the Service Control Manager is no longer available. We used to see this option but at some point it is now no longer available. My account has Admin rights but I double checked in our Group account and under Server & Application Monitor Settings the option for SCM is essentially not available to be activated. Has anyone come across this? We are on some older versions of modules but nothing was changed or upgraded recently. SAM 6.0, NCM 7.2, NPM 10.7, NTA 3.10.0, UDT 3.0.1

is your Group account a SAM admin as well? can you send screenshot of what you see when editing this account?

Yes I confirm the account has SAM User Role of Admin. I attached a picture of what I am seeing on my original post. Essentially there are no drop down boxes next to a couple options such as Service Control Manager. I have also confirmed with another user part of this group they are unable to see SCM.

Are there any conflicting permissions that may be restricting your? Multiple group memberships?

I was wondering if this happens to all web admin user accounts. If it does, regardless if its an AD account or Local web admin, then the issue lies with the dll file for the SCM.

You can try to repair SAM and recreate website to see if it helps. But if the issue is only shown on a specific account, then it may be conflicting permissions as what bscherer suggested.

Is it possible that your user account permissions [Settings -> Manage Accounts] are not configured to allow you access to the Service Control Manager?

In our web page there are no drop down boxes for some of those options such as Service Control Manager. I am still unable to determine what is causing this since our Group account has Admin rights and our SAM role is Admin. I tried removing Admin for SAM and saved out. Went back in and when I set back to Admin, I was hoping the drop down menu's might appear however that is not the case.

I did find a work around for this in the meantime. I found on the APM_WebUserPermissions table that our group account had PermissionValue=FALSE for the APM.AllowRealTimeServiceManage value. I set this to true and we can now at least see and use the feature again. I plan to revisit this when we upgrade our versions in the near future.
