how to change IP on deployment with two pollers-nodes and one NTA

Hi Folkz

My setup is one main-polle, one additional poller, and one NTA for netflow.

DB server is hosted on seperate SQL hotel.

Orion Platform 2017.1.3 SP3, IPAM 4.5.1, VNQM 4.4.0, NCM 7.6, CloudMonitoring 1.0.0, NPM 12.1, QoE 2.3, NTA 4.2.2, VIM 7.1.0

I need to change IP on my windows servers - are there any fallpits or is it pretty straight ?

I know I have to reconfig all of the networking devices to allow SNMP access etc to the new poller IP's, so the questions is more centric around ther servers and the applications, like NTA

The hostnames will remain the same ... (yeah)

SQL is not moving or changing.

please advise or share you experience, should you have done this in the past.

Hi mbilgrav this is a pretty straightforward process, and is even documented by SolarWinds, but in effect you just changed the server's IP and run the config wizard. Nothing else to it.

Like you mentioned the bigger headache will be updating all your ACL's, SNMP Restrictions and Firewall Rules Good luck!
