Cirrus V4 takes 25% CPU, basically not usable - any fix?

Hello,

We are running Cirrus V4.0.1, User Interface Version 8.3.107, ConfigMgmtEngine8 Version 8.3.173, SQL Server 8.00.2039, 206 devices in the database.

When launching Config Manager from the server, it takes 25 % of the CPU and is basically not responsive. The scroll bar moves itself around, and it is almost impossible to do anything. After reading that other users are experiencing similar issues when upgrading to the current version, it sounds like it's not fixed yet.

Any ideas?

Are your regional settings set to a non-US date format. If so this is a known issue. You may want to open a ticket with support.

Try disabling ICMP node polling. I had this problem too, where the node polling was way too aggrsesive and database way too slow to keep up.

If this works for you, try altering the node polling interval to something higher than the default.
