I am having trouble trying to get alerting on ospf to trigger when it triggers either i get flooded with emails giving me false positives or no alerting at all.
any help please would be greatly appreciated
How about you use OR condition instead of using AND. I think if you configure it with AND, the condition will never be satisfied. Try this -
status is not equal to Two Way or Full

This did not work, ive changed a couple of things.
Not 100% related, but it'd be nice if the Neighbor ID had the same options as Neighbor IP. In our network, for a particular link, the OSPF Neighbor ID has a more matchable range (All start with 10.255 and all end with 42) than Neighbor IP, where we'd have to match each individual IP.
