I have been searching for two hours and not much on how to perform bulk password change on network devices.
Can some share a workable recipe ?

for what type of devices?
Easiest way is to manage all the device with the same username and password that only Orion uses. Then all you need to do is change the password for it. This is done in NCM settings and select Connection Profiles (in Global Device Defaults).
Or alternatively you can just select all the device in NPM, click on Edit Properties, scroll down to Connection Profile, tick the box and fill out the settings.
I was ask to help out to push out a quarterly password change using NCM . I can't find a detail instructions on how do this.
I got about 200 cisco devices.
You'll need to provide more information if my post above did not help.
What password needs changing? The password that Solarwinds uses to download configs or the password that users use to log onto the Cisco device?
there is a configuration change template available below that you might want to try
Change telnet and console passwords.ncm-template
