Poller question for NetApp SANS

We just got our NetApp SANs set up - 45TB worth of data goodness . We'll eventually bring the Cisco Nexus switches online with VSphere. My question is...I was able to add the network interfaces from the NetApp nodes with no problem but I'm pondering how to set up a poller to monitor all those volumes...

I guess I'll dig through the MIBs , just was hoping a template would already be on Thwack to guide me along

A simpler solution may be to look at SolarWinds Storage Manager. It has native support for monitor NetApp storage and integrates directly into the Orion web console.

We may look into that . Currently we are in a test production with a couple of Solarwind 30 day trials running on them. I might as well install a 30 day trial of the Storage Manager so we can test it and possibly purchase it when we put this in our production environment.

You can write pollers for NetApp volume usage, we have it working in our system. Below I linked to a poller that I found in the Content Exchange, it's not the one I use so I can't tell you for sure how well it will work but you should give it a try.

Thanks Byrona, I did a forum search and got all those apps. Now the challenge of deciphering the volume names of all the mounted volumes
