Reports

hi,

can NCM able to provide reports with the following information:

host name/system name
Card Name
Description
Serial Number
Part ID?

I have manged to get one for Physical Entities which provides 4/5 that i require. the description is not such a requirement but the others are.

I'm trying to build up a list of these details for documentation and disaster recovery and do really want to remote to each and log in and provide /sh inv comand . We have around 150-200 devices.

if they can not provide this information does anyone know of a fast way to do this? I had thought about using Execute script to quickly provide the information but not sure if i can bulk download these.

**EDIT** I have managed to get this but can't get the report to export with filters, every time i try export it says maximum 60k lines but if i was to export this it would fail/crash the server. **EDIT**

Hi fmckechnie,

We know about the problem with reports. The 60k line limit is limitation of Excel itself. However I agree that Web UI currently does not have the possibility to export with filters. You can achieve it in the Win32 client.

Is it possible to filter out information depending on a certain field? i have alot of information I dont need and the only way to filter would be by serial number ( the information i need will all have a serial number)
