I got this monitor setup and working, however, it won't connect to the server and I know the instance name and credentials are accurate. Does the target sql server database require a solarwinds SAM agent to communicate from solarwinds to it?
The SQL Server user experience monitor does not require an agent installed. When testing the component does it show as UP or provide any related error message?
