Hi All,
How can I update the LEM agent config on a Windows Server if I change the server's IP? The new IP is not updated in the Node Manager. Is reinstalling LEM agent the only way to update IP?
Reinstalling is probably simplest.
On the server, stop the LEM Agent Service. Go to the Agent install directory (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ContegoSPOP) and open the spop folder. There will be 6 files in the folder and two directories. DON'T DELETE THE DIRECTORIES. Delete the six files. Restart the service. That should put the Agent back in a "first-run" state and update the IP.
Thanks, I'll try that.
Hi Curtisi,
I also changed our LEM host IP and modify the spop.conf to reflect the new host IP. But nodes are still showing "disconnected". We can ping and telnet 37890, 37891, 37892 from client computers and main dashboard events showing "No Data Available."
What do you think the issue?
Do you have duplicate nodes? One connected and one not? Wiping the SPOP directory will result in duplicates, so just remove the disconnected ones once you confirm they have a connected twin.
Thanks for the feedback, it was resolve after restarting the manager. It might need some refresh.
