Adding weblinks to Email alerts?!?

My moentor said he heard that adding a weblink to the specific alert for that specific node was possible. It doesn't sound far fetched but I havn't been able to find anything in the variables on the edit advanced alert. Is what I am talking about possible or is it possible to add our own variable like; ${NodeWebaddress} (just an example so you can see what I am talking about.)

I'm not sure what you mean precisely by linking to "the specific alert", but I include these links in my alert emails for volumes & nodes:

Orion Volume:
yourservername:port/.../VolumeDetails.aspx

Orion Node:
yourservername:port/.../NodeDetails.aspx

What I mean by this is that When Alert X notifies me that Node Y is down could we add a link to Node Y so we can go directly to where it is on the Orion web console. After taking a break I found the variable that works perfect - ${NodeDetailsURL} much easier than typing it out and adding the node ID at the end. I was not aware about the volumes though and that may be usefull. Do you know if ${NodeDetailsURL} will give me the same information as http://yourservername:port/Orion/NetPerfMon/VolumeDetails.aspx?NetObject=V:${VolumeID} ??

Thanks for this smargh! we have a seperate web server, so when I would use ${NodeDetailsURL} it would use our original polling server's web link. This allows me to utilize the web server's link. Thanks again!
