Determining Cisco Chassis Manufactured Date

Does anyone know of a way to pull the manufactured date for a Cisco chassis? I can get a report on th chassis version, but I need the actual date.

I think I have never run into this in Cisco MIBs or commands. Is there a manner you can obtain this same information via command line on your cisco device? The best I can think of, is to obtain the serial number and then use that to determine the manufacture date, on Cisco's web site (I've heard of that being done, but never have tried it).

Thanks for the link. I have been looking through a lot of MIBs and OID's but I haven't located this yet. I sent an email to my local SE about this. If he has an answer, I'll post it back here.

Have you also tried adding it to our Tell Us Your Unknown Devices post? We check that and then update the SW MIB with new OIDs.
