I've read the Adv alert guide and thought I understood how to implement nested conditions but for the life of I'm unable to get my condition to work. See screen shot below of what I'm trying to achieve.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I've seen errors like this after using the control to move conditions up and down in the list. The control will let you move conditions between condition groups but doing this seems to break the trigger. I would recommend deleting the "Trigger Alert when any of the following apply" condition group along with the two conditions under it and then add them back. If that doesn't work then try deleting all of your conditions and start from scratch.
I'm pretty new to this too, but I think I know the problem. The conditions should be indented within the trigger group.
Delete the Xmit and Recv conditions. Click on the "Trigger Alert when any of the following apply", then click on the "..." to add a simple condition. Add the Xmit condition. Go back to "Trigger Alert when any of the following apply", then click on the "..." to add a simple condition for the Recv condition.
What sedmo and david said - they need to be nested (indented).
Thanks, it was due to not being indented correctly.
