Hi while i have been using Solarwinds NPM\Orion with SAMS for years i have not created specific SAM Unix Scripts. I need help with writing a monitor to check the following
free -m
ntpstat
service ntpd status.
I have logged at the SAMS Unix Monitor and got rather lost, i also looked at the example scripts and got rather lost.
I would then like to be able to report on these in Solar and alarm if possible. I can sort the alarms as done plenty of others.
Any suggestions please anyone if necessary i may log a support case but wondering if anyone on Thwack could help first.
