I wish to be able to specify the facility type for syslog alert actions. All of our alerts that feed into our ticketing system come through as alert actions via syslog and they dump into the default syslog on the other end. The guys that handle it have created a specific filter for SW alerts so that it goes to 'Local6 - Debug' however I am unsure how to instruct SW to dump into that syslog. We want to be able to keep SW logging to a separate syslog so it is easier to troubleshoot and support down the road.
I see many selections for syslog types, but not being familiar with any of them, i am not sure what I need to do. I see 'local use - 6' in the list, but I am not sure exactly what this means.
