Good day! I need to monitor the avail of a URL, nothing more. I see the URL monitors and they do not seem to work because it is looking for all this other information. I just need it return true if the URL is up and avail. Any help is appreciated!

Do you mean that HTTP(S) monitors do not work as you expect? Could you share what the problem is?
I have a URL and I just want to see if I get a 200 status back thats all. The URL templates require all this information. So lets try it this way, what is the procedure to get a URL monitoring so I just test for a 200 status?

Sounds like you have not installed the SAM Additional Poller components on to you Additional Polling Engine (APE).
Alter - Where is this documented? I am not using an additional poller, instead the agent is doing the lifting for me in this case.

Ahh, ok this is an agent. Sorry I missed that. Is the node managed via the agent or is the node managed in Orion using SNMP or WMI? You can view the list of agent plugins installed on the agent by going to [Settings -> Manage Agents] then select the agent and click [More Actions] from the top menu and clicking [view] as shown below. You should see a "SAM Agent Plugin" listed if the node is managed via the Agent in Orion. If it isn't, click the "Manage as Node" button from the same top menu.
