I am curious about baselining the network. On the main page of our NCM, we have the chart showing "Baseline vs. Running Config Conflicts". This is showing that 92% of my devices have a conflict between the baseline and running config - which I think is wrong, because I have re-ran the "Config -> Baseline Entire Network" option 2 times today - first using the "Set the Network Baseline to the last Config downloaded from each Node" then setting the "Set the Network Baseline to a specific date". We have a script running every morning around 3am to backup the running config on each device - so, in my mind, when I set either option, the chart on the website should change the % of conflicts.
Am I doing something incorrect here? (The settings for the chart is to use "as of last update").
