APM 3.5

Question

Hi All,

I have installed Orion NPM and it is working fine. I have added APM to monitor multiple application servers (Oracle Portal, OID, SOA, web logic and database) but I did not find any application monitoring templates except the oracle database monitor.

My questions are:

How can I monitor the oracle application servers with APM?

Each application server has its own windows services which must be up all the time and I want to set an alert if any of these services is down. How can I monitor the Oracle windows services?

With APM you also have the ability to create your own Application Templates by browsing Windows services running on your systems and selecting them to be monitored as part of the Application Template.
