We installed Serv-U SFTP server last year and absolutely love the ease of use and how well it allows us to provide data for regular sftp retrieval and adhoc deliveries. The only issue we have with the software is the severe lack of reporting. My management wants to get alerts or reports on users that are blocked or locked out with specifics like IP address, username, and why they were locked/blocked. I cannot find any way to get this except crawling the log file, which as an IT working manager, I just don't have the time available to sort all of that out.
I tried the event triggering, but it just creates a ton of email that frankly I don't want sitting in my email system.
Is there a way to do this on Serv-U or maybe a way to get reports from LEM? Any advice is appreciated.
