ProCurve 3500yl

Question

I cannot get NTA to accept sflow data from Procurve switches.

I get this error:

"NetFlow Receiver Service [XXXXXXXXXX] is receiving a NetFlow data stream from an unmanaged interface on XXXXXXXXX. The NetFlow data stream will be discarded. Please follow the link XXXXXXXXX or use the Orion System Manager to add Interface '#2' in order to process this NetFlow data stream."

The switch is in my managed nodes, but I cannot seem to add anything under Netflow Settings, in NTA.

"no data exists"

Any ideas?

Safari is not officially supported.  That might or not be the issue, but we don't test against Safari 4.

Right, I now know why this didn't work orginally.

When you use Safari 4 on windows, if you select the checkboxes on selecting interfaces it just plain doesn't work.

If you switch (as I did) to IE, then selecting those interfaces were rememebered and saved, and now show up in the netflow sources.

Is there a warning about this somewhere? Or am I the weird one for using Safari :)

(Maybe I've missed a compatible browser readme.txt somewhere) Anyway, folks should watch out.

ah wait, now I added the resources again, they show up on NTA.

I think if I wait, I might get some stats!
