When running tasks like "Detect Now" and "Service Management", I get users to not being able to log in. They can't log in because the security logs are full. How can i fix this? Besides emptying the log and raising the kb on the log?
Hi kl0957,
this is an issue with .NET framework and the System.Management namespace.
The bug causes an initial authentication handshake to occur as the service account (and it shouldnt).
We are actively working with Microsoft to finish testing a hotfix that will address this issue.

Any solutions to this issue. We are also getting security logs filling up.
Thanks.
Hi antwesor,
The login failures are caused by a Microsoft bug and they have addressed most of the issues surrounding this.
The fix can be found here: http://archive.msdn.microsoft.com/KB974893/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=4391.
It is a hotfix for .NET and would need to be applied to the EminentWare server(s).
You may however still see a few occasional audit failure events after applying this fix due to the nature of the bug.
