any help bit urgent ????
Hi, there.
So, if I understand your most recent post, you're just having issues with your desktop console password? If that's the case, use username "admin" with password "password" -- those are the default credentials per http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/LEM/Docs/SolarWinds-LEM-QuickStartGuide.pdf. (The default credentials are the same for the desktop and web consoles.)
Let me know if you have some other issue.
Phil
Hi Phil,
thanks for replying
i'll explain you in bit in brief??
i have installed this desktop console software on this once , as soon as i start the software.. it prompted me to enter the IP address.. so i have given it the IP address of the server where the vmware and solar winds software is installed.. it asked me for password ?? which ive tried all those .. even admin and password ..
No joy ...
Ah...when it asks for the IP address, it's asking for the IP address for the LEM appliance, not the VM server it's installed on. To see the IP address for the LEM appliance, log onto your VMware client, and then look at the "console" view for the LEM VM. You should see a blue screen that notes the LEM IP address.
