Hi All.
I would be most grateful if someone could let me know how to provide an availability chart for an INTERFACE in the same way I can for a node or application. I need this to appear on one of our NOC dashboard pages.
Thanks!
Goto the Interface details page and click "Customize page" option on the top right corner. Now from the list look for "Network Wide Summary Charts".Go ahead and add the "Network wide Availability Cart" from the list.Hope this is what you are looking for.
Hi Nandish
Thanks for this, but I'm looking for a dashboard chart for a SINGLE interface.
I have a Brocade switch where one bay is throwing errors - the event list clearly shows this, but I can't seem to provide a chart for that individual interface.
GarethHassall,
Do you mean the availability table in the screenshot here? One way to add statistics about specific interfaces on a summary view (which is probably what you have for your NOC view) is to use the Customer Object Resource (COR). Click customize page on your NOC view and add the COR (in the Misc section). Then click edit on the COR and select the interface you are interested in. Finally, select the resource you want to see. I don't think the availbility resource is an option, but you might find another resource that fits your needs.
Hope that helps.
Mav
Hi Mav, thanks for the assist, but I'm looking for the full graph that I can manipulate & customise for specific time spans as you would an availbility graph for anything else, something like this.
Thanks,
Gareth.
Sorry, screenshot got lost.
Hello guys!
After reading all posts here, we know we're able via custom SQL query to present into our reports for how long an current down node have been down. We've done it here, It's Beautiful, and it would be even better if it someday came by default, with no custom query need.
Now we need an report that tell us for how long each device stayed down last month. We also should show it by event, telling us how long it took to the solution came e fix the problem. Any clue of how to make it automatic? Any Feature request for that? Thanks!
