Macro for IP Address

I am struggling with finding a working macro for IP address again. This time the alert is an Application monitoring alert. It alerts when there are less than a certain number of instances of an application process running on an ESX host. The message body needs to have the host IP address in it, and all iterations I have tried do not work: ${IP}, ${IP_Address}, and ${Node.IP_Address}

Is there another macro I should be using?

No, that thread did not help, but thank you. It discusses basic alerts and it suggests same macros I already tried.

This alert is an advanced alert for an application monitoring rule.

Any other suggestions?

${Node.IP_Address} should work. If it is not try adding a dummy condition in your criteria such as:

NodeID is equal to NodeID

This will make sure that node items are joined in your query and that the variable resolver has access to the nodes information.
