SNMP Trap unable forward to Secondary Server syslog.

Dear SolarWinds Community,

We are doing SNMP Trap relay to a secondary server. However, the result is negative.

We are following this link to set up our SolarWinds, https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/How-to-forward-incoming-SNMP-trap-messages-to-another-server

Network connectivity is no issue, all the SolarWinds services are running and port 162 is ready to use.

May I know any settings that we missed out?

Same with mine- not working

Best way to be sure when it comes to traps is to set up packet captures on the sending and receiving ends and see what data is showing up. I've never had a case where my data was successfully arriving and the tool didn't work.

I found the solution. You need go to Alert & Activity > Alerts > Manage Alerts > Alert Manager

Inside the Alert Manager, edit your alert> go to Trigger Actions and select send SNMP Trap

Fill in all the related information

It shall be work.
