Application rate is lower when looking over a longer time period

HI,

I am using NTA 4.03

When looking at a particular application, the rate graph for the last 1 day is showing a peak of 955.9kbps.

When changing the view to the last 10 days, the highest peak shown is 685.9kbps.

Does anyone know why this would be ?, I wanted to see what the highest peak was during the last month, but am confused as to why it is showing different results.
