Cross Domain Authentication

We currently have 2 Domains - Let's call them Domain A and Domain B.

Currently all our users authenticate using Domain A to our Solarwinds monitoring solution.

We have built a new Solarwinds Monitoring Solution in Domain B. With our new build we have our Admins to administer it using Domain B credentials instead of Domain A.

What we would like is for Domain A users to be able to authenticate into the Domain B solarwinds however we don't want to create a trust between the domains. This is so we don't have to create multiple accounts in both domains for users/managers/service desk etc.

Is there a solution available for this? I have heard ADFS might be an option with later releases of Solarwinds?

Any assistance would be appreciated!
