Is there a way to access the NOC views without having to enter the username and password again after already logging into Solarwinds?
Once you are logged into the Web Console, you should not be prompted for username/password unless session timeout occurred. You can modify the session timeout by editing the account. ) disables the timeout for account inactivity.
When I first saw the title, I thought you wanted to see the NOC view without users logging in. In case anyone stumbles to this page and wants to access certian pages without user credentials, you can setup an account called DirectLink so that non-users can see certain pages. Share views with non-Orion Web Console users
Hey Sean thanks a lot for the response. I was actually also looking for a way to accomplish the second thing you mentioned. The DirectLink works well.
I just have a question about it. I'm trying to display the status of some groups but the viewers who have access to the direct link should have 0 rights and when they click on one of the groups it will take them to an error page. But if they click Home it will take them to the groups summary. I know I can change the summary to look differently but is it possible to loop them back to the original NOC view when they click home? Thanks a lot by the way.
