SEM Agent installation on WIndows 2019 DC (domain controller)

Hi,

like in subject I have problem with installation SEM 2019.4 agent on my new domain controller. Could anybody see that error (in attachment)?

Can you confirm which Windows Server version you are trying to install on and also the filename of the SEM agent you are trying to install?

This isn't currently a known issue with the 2019.4 agent, but you can generally bypass the error by running the installation in compatibility mode.

I have Windows 2019 (1809 build 17763.1012). Thanks for that hint but I was trying that with no success

Installation file: SolarWinds-SEM-2019.4-Agent-WindowsInstaller.exe but I trying with SolarWinds-SEM-2019.4-Agent-WindowsRemoteInstaller.exe too.

Thanks for the additional info. Can you run the agent installer as an Administrator? Also, can you confirm if the OS language is set to English? If it's not English, that may be causing an issue too.

Yesterday I was trying on OS clean installation without adding server to domain with no success. Also I trying to install that with Admin privileges. None of this option help.

Windows OS is in eng version.
