Does SolarWinds NTA support nProbes --vlanid-as-iface-idx parameter to define interfaces

Hello,

I have several data streams, that can be identified by their vlan tags, flowing into a single nProbe server. I am using the "--vlanid-as-iface-idx" parameter in my nProbe command line string. I can see the vlan associatied interfaces when I test my netflow output in Ntop. However, in NTA all I see is the physical interface of my nProbe server. Is there anyway to configure NTA to recognize the interfaces as defined by the use of the "--vlanid-as-iface-idx". From what I can tell, NTA uses only SNMP to get the list of interfaces from my nProbe server.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I haven't testes this directly so I can tell you with certainty, however, I do not think this will work. Do you see any events in the NTA log about receiving traffic from unmonitored interfaces or unmanaged nodes?

NTA needs to match interface ID in the flows with interface IDs for interfaces in NPM to properly display and process flows.
