Current Percent Utilization of an interface is 66873%!!!

Hi,

For an interface which is UNMANAGED, I am getting a Current Percent Utilization of an interface is 66873%(Transmit) & 1273%(Receive).

Can anyone suggest, how can we resolve this?

We do not want the entry to come up at all.

Hi TIA,

check what bandwidth do you have for the interface. Orion > Node Management > click [+] next to node which contains this interface > check the checkbox next to interface > click 'edit properties' on top bar > check values in In/Out Bandwidth. Most probably the value there is 1000 or so bigger than real interface speed. Set it correctly and save the settings.

Hi Choly, Thank you for the reply. The Transmit & receive b/w is 2000 mb/s. What should be the ideal value?Also, since the node is not being managed, shouldnt the polling be not done at all.My question is why is it gathering values for an unmanaged node. Udit

  Changing the B/w value is not solving our problem, if we lower the value, the percent utilization will increase in terms of percentage.i want to completely stop the polling for this interface which is already in unmanaged state.
