Please add arrow keys for moving the cursor around in the TN5250 emulation. This is a requirement for doing anything beyond cursory work in TN5250.
Thanks for the feedback. Which mobile device are you using?
I've tested it using a Motorola Droid X running Gingerbread 2.3.3, An HTC Flyer running Honeycomb 3.2.1, and a Polaroid tablet running Ice Cream Sandwich. 4.0.
None of the devices has any provision to move the cursor.
You should be able to ‘swipe’ the special keys area left and right to get to the arrow keys. Hope this helps.
That works on the iOS version on my Touch, but does not work on the Android. The special keys area has 5 icons: Control +, Alt +, Tab, Fn, and Soft keyboard, Swiping it left, right, up, or down just moves the TN5250 screen around.
Looks like the arrow keys are in the VT100 version of telnet. It does weird things with underlines on the screen sometimes but I'll put up with that to get working arrow keys for now.
