Missing Certificate

Good morning All,

Our scenario is:

SERVER WSUS : WINDOWS 2003 ENTERPRISE SERVER SP2

SERVER EMINENTWARE : WINDOWS 2003 ENTERPRISE SERVER SP2

Today (but the problem was happened again 3 weeks ago) is this

the server eminentware while publishing new packages give us this error : Failed to publish "****" Failed to sign package; error was : 2147942402

We checked Certificates and we can see that the eminentware can't recognize wsus certificate

and checking wsus server instead we can see that the certificate is stored correctly.

Why Monday was all ok and works perfectly (i published 2 packages without problem).. and today instead (nothing happened between monday and today)

we have this error?

What can we do to resolve problem without regenerate the certificate ?

Someone can tell us why this could be happened?

Hi Sim,

we tryed it... the verification wizard give us a missing Certificate in both server

in Trusted Root Certification Authorities & Trusted Publishers

but using mmc console and checking certificate on both server we can find them

regularly installed.

The only way is to regenerate a new certificate and use it, but this means to redistribute it and resign all packages..

there is a why to force eminentware to use a specific .cer files?

yes we tryed it.. it say missing certificate on both server
