Are jobs synchronous?

If I have a job to do an inventory of 500 devices and another job scheduled at the same time to upgrade the IOS of 10 devices, are all 510 tasks performed at the same time or will the second job wait for the first to complete before it starts?

The scheduled jobs are completely asynchronous. You will want to schedule the jobs with enough time between them to allow the first to complete, if you do not want the traffic to overlap.

FYI: If you are using the send script commands, these are synchronous. They will only run in sequense on after another.
